Job Title: Program Director - Vocational/Practical Nursing Program

Bridgeway Professionals is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Director to lead our Vocational/Practical Nursing Program. As a key member of our Academic Administration team, you will be responsible for the overall supervision, development, planning, coordination, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing program activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Program Development and Management: Plan, develop, manage, update, and evaluate all aspects of the program.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Prepare data and other written materials for all required state and Nursing Board requirements, reports, proposals, self-studies, surveys, and site visits.
  • Faculty Supervision: Assist with identifying and obtaining outside resources for the nursing program, develop and implement program policies and procedures, and oversee admission process and orientation.
  • Clinical Partnerships: Develop and maintain educational partnerships with clinical sites, perform clinical site evaluations, and ensure clinical contracts are updated and maintained.
  • Faculty Support: Participate in nursing faculty recruitment, hiring, and orientation, facilitate nursing faculty meetings, and assign and schedule faculty to course and clinical sites.
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor quality of instruction, participate in faculty and program review, evaluation, and strategic planning, and provide input on the planning and review process for the recruitment and admission of qualified nursing students.
Requirements:
  • Education: Hold a current and active license as a Registered Nurse in the state of which you will be working, and a baccalaureate degree from an approved school.
  • Experience: Have a minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse, with one year in teaching or clinical supervision, or a combination thereof, in a state-approved registered nursing or vocational or practical nursing, or psychiatric technician school within the last five years.
