Job Overview

The California State Lottery is seeking an experienced professional to manage all aspects of the Lottery's CEA and Exempt Program.

Responsibilities

  • CEA concept development, upkeep, and delegated authority management;
  • Exempt position control, establishment, salary requests, recruitment and onboarding coordination;
  • CEA examination development, administration, and recruitment;

Requirements

  • Experience drafting CEA concepts and working closely with executive staff to document policy areas in support of CEA concepts;
  • Creating and administering CEA examinations;
  • Familiarity with exempt positions;

This specialist position provides a unique opportunity to manage a critical function, liaise with members of the Executive Team, and build strong relationships organization-wide.

Special Requirements

  • The position requires a current Staff Services Manager I exam;
  • Background Investigation clearance prior to being hired;
  • No felony convictions or gambling-related offenses;

Salary Range

$73,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience;
