Transmission and Substation Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Transmission and Substation Construction Supervisor to oversee and manage construction projects related to high-voltage transmission lines and substations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical infrastructure construction, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate construction activities on transmission and substation projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and vendors, promoting a culture of safety and teamwork.
- Recruit, train, and develop employees, ensuring all team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce safety protocols, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to develop project plans and schedules.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including daily reports, work logs, and safety records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve construction-related issues and conflicts in a timely manner.
- Ensure all equipment and materials are available and properly utilized on-site.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction supervision, specifically in transmission and substations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure construction practices, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and recruiting employees.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid Class A driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
