Job Overview

Lead Development Team

Johnson Controls International is seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Engineer to lead our development team in achieving department and project objectives on medium to large projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading engineering, field auditing, data analysis processing, and financial modeling tasks during both preliminary and detailed development of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering teams in the development of multiple components of the bundled sale.
  • Perform on-site auditing and data collection at customer facilities as required to perform solution design or detailed development tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors as well as facility mid-level technical & financial managers.
  • Responsible for creating and managing budgets, timelines, and quality of work on assigned opportunities.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of customer baselines and perform detailed engineering and financial analysis to quantify cost savings or other customer benefits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field as appropriate.
  • Eight years or more experience in designing / selling building systems, energy modeling, construction or facility management.
  • Undergrad experience performing building modeling preferred (example IAC program).
  • Function-specific licenses or certifications preferred (e.g., Professional Engineering license, CEM etc.).
  • MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

What We Offer

Johnson Controls International offers a competitive benefits package, including a hiring salary range of $130,200 - $167,600. This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
