Fuel Truck Driver Job Description

At Bruceton Petroleum Co., we are seeking a skilled Fuel Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering fuel oil, gasoline, and liquefied petroleum gas to various locations in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive tank trucks to deliver fuel products to customers, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip visual inspections of vehicles to ensure road worthiness.
  • Load and unload fuel products, monitoring gauges and meters to record quantities.
  • Complete required paperwork, including shipping documents and hours of duty reports.
  • Perform daily maintenance of bulk plants and light maintenance on trucks.
  • Have working knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations and emergency response procedures.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age.
  • Commercial driver's license with hazardous material and tanker endorsement.
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 75 pounds and climb up to 15 feet.
