Job Description

As a skilled nursing care specialist at BEK Care, LLC, you will be responsible for administering professional nursing services to clients in their homes. This role requires a strong understanding of nursing principles and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Care: Administer skilled nursing care to clients, including assessing their physical and emotional needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing education and support to clients and their families.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client care, including progress notes, medication lists, and other relevant information.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Leadership: Supervise and mentor home health aides, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
  • Professional Growth: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, participating in ongoing education and training opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an approved school of professional nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the states of Minnesota and North Dakota.
  • Must obtain CPR certification within 6 months from date of hire.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and use of an insured personal vehicle.
  • Must have adequate computer skills.
  • Abide by the HIPAA privacy policy as administered by BEK Care, LLC.
  • Must complete and pass a state required background study.
  • Able to physically perform the duties required by the position.
  • Required to have the ability to read, write and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, patients, families and facilities.
