Job SummaryConvergence Usa, Inc. is seeking a skilled Smart Home Installation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining complex home automation systems, ensuring seamless integration of various technologies and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and configure home automation systems, including control systems, whole house audio, smart lighting, and security systems.
  • Work with clients to understand their technology needs and preferences, providing personalized solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure timely and efficient project completion, meeting client expectations and deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing expert support to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve our services and stay ahead of the competition.

Requirements
  • 2-3 years of experience in the A/V, alarm, or electrical industry, with a focus on home automation and control systems.
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of signal flow, professional audio components, and high-tech residential systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and vendors.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, with experience in project management and leadership a plus.

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with high-tech residential systems and smart home technology.
  • Knowledge of control systems, whole house audio equipment, and alarm systems.
  • Ability to interpret floorplans and technical schematics.
  • Proficiency in networking and PC experience.
