Job Title: Chief Information Security Officer

Location: Sacramento, CA

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum (based on a 12-month contract and estimated hourly rate of $40-$50)

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Chief Information Security Officer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing our security awareness platform, producing quarterly phishing simulation results reports, and supporting security assessments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Security Awareness Platform: Oversee the day-to-day management of our security awareness platform, including reports, data, charts, staff access, and information downloads.
  • Produce Phishing Simulation Results Reports: Create and disseminate quarterly phishing simulation results reports, highlighting failures, successes, and repeat offenders.
  • Support Security Assessments: Assist in conducting security assessments, taking notes, updating information, and setting up meetings as required.
  • Lead Project Discussions: Facilitate project discussions and provide guidance on security-related matters.
  • Update Intranet Site and Manage Teams Sites: Maintain our intranet site and manage Teams sites, ensuring timely updates and accurate information.
  • Create and Launch Security Awareness Training Courses: Develop and deploy security awareness training courses/modules, tracking completion rates and generating reports as needed.
  • Handle Multiple Tasks Daily: Perform a variety of tasks, including responding to customer inquiries, conducting research, and assisting with presentation development.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Information Security: A minimum of 5 years' experience in information security, with a strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams, as well as experience with security assessments (NIST, CIS) and vulnerability management.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze information, create tables and graphs, and present findings effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Programming and Networking Experience: Experience in programming, networking, and system administration, with a security-focused mindset.
  • Risk Assessment Experience: Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and experience in conducting risk assessments.
