We're seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative - Food & Beverage to join our team at Denny's. As a key member of our dining room team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is nothing short of exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers immediately upon arrival, verifying the number in their party and determining any special needs
• Collect payment from customers in accordance with established cash handling procedures and handle customer complaints/suggestions appropriately
• Seat customers at tables/booths appropriate for their needs and those of the restaurant
• Handle incoming phone calls promptly
• Provide customers with initial beverage orders and refill their beverages when possible
• Maintain a clean and organized waiting area and register area
• Handle guest check transactions properly to balance the register totals at the end of the shift
• Operating cash register
• Must be able to work with computers and have good phone skills
• Carrying trays of food products weighing about 20 pounds for distances up to 30 feet
• Must meet any state, county, or municipal regulations pertaining to health risk concerns about food handling
• Must immediately inform management of any safety hazards, equipment problems, or complaints from guests, or other employees
• Must complete all video training, anti-discrimination & anti-harassment training, and comply with Denny's nondiscrimination policies
