Physiotherapist Role in Rehabilitation

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physiotherapist to join our team at JAG Physical Therapy. This role requires a highly skilled individual who can assess patients' needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and provide effective interventions to facilitate healing and improve functional independence.

Key Responsibilities:
Collects and records patient care data, including initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments, progress reports, discharge plans, and communication with the interdisciplinary team. Prepares for evaluations by obtaining patient history, researching unfamiliar diagnoses, and selecting and administering tests and measures. Formulates diagnoses, goals, prognosis, and plans of care based on evaluation results. Establishes treatment plans, collaborates with the interdisciplinary team, and assesses and re-assesses the need for modifications to plans of care and goals. Provides education and training to patients and their support systems, ensuring safe and effective interventions. Oversees support staff, attends annual billing and coding seminars, and promotes JAG Physical Therapy in the community through lectures and presentations.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred. Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in. Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the appropriate state (NY, NJ). Valid CPR license. Experience/knowledge with EMR software is preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong clinical decision-making skills, and a positive, professional demeanor. Works as a team member and individually with minimal supervision, maintaining a high level of productivity and adherence to department guidelines.
