Medication Care Partner Job Description

Cogir Senior Living is seeking compassionate and diligent Medication Care Partners (Certified Medication Aides) to join our team in our beautiful retirement community, The Georgian Lakeside Assisted Living and Memory Care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with daily medication administration, including self-administration.
  • Keep charting documentation current and report resident status changes.
  • Keep medication files and medical records up-to-date.

As a Medication Care Partner, you will provide compassionate care and support with activities of daily living to residents in a team setting as needed. You will prioritize independence and provide emotional support by offering continuous engagement and companionship. You will also promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience, including giving medication in a community setting. Experience with Memory Care is a plus. Current First Aid and CPR certification or ability to obtain is required. Previous experience working in Independent Living (IL), Assisted Living (AL), Memory Care (MC), or Senior Living is a plus.
