Job Summary:

As an Account Manager for Industrial Automation Solutions at IAF: Ohlheiser, you will be responsible for working with repeat and new customers to find products within our portfolio that will work in new projects or customer products. You will also be required to work with customers to solve problems with current business that may arise. This position is for the sales of Controls and Pneumatics components, manufactured by our primary suppliers: SMC, Epson, Gast, Baumer, Panasonic, Lenze & Turck.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and target potential customers, services and maintain existing customers and improve customer relationships in order to increase market penetration.
  • Establish professional customer relationships with appropriate customer personnel (purchasing, engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, management, or other key personnel) and develop new accounts, maintain and increase current customer base.
  • Secure orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility and/or contacting by phone as well as MS Teams video calls.
  • Develop in conjunction with management, sales strategies to sell applicable product lines and services and implements such in order to achieve predetermined annual sales target.
  • Visit customer facilities, maintain contact and consult in order to secure sales to existing and potential customers.
  • Analyze and research pertinent information in order to respond to Customer inquiries regarding product features and performance, product application, product substitution and special application requests.
  • Travel within specified New England based territory required.
