Job Description

As a Home Health Aide with Amedisys, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality patient care in the comfort of their own homes. Your duties will include:

  • Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Monitoring patients' vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nurse or physician.
  • Preparing and serving meals, and assisting with light housekeeping tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current CNA certification in good standing.
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a CNA, preferably in a home health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
