Job Summary

Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Per Diem Pharmacist to join our team in Hershey, Pennsylvania. As a Per Diem Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, rational, and cost-effective drug therapy for patients within our medical center.

Responsibilities
  • Assure the accuracy of drug dispensing and physician order evaluation
  • Monitor drug therapy and communicate with all providers involved in patient care
  • Participate in assuring adherence to Medical Center drug use policy
  • Provide pharmacotherapy education and information for physicians, nurses, and residents
Requirements
  • B.S. or Pharm.D. degree in pharmacy required
  • Current Pennsylvania Licensure or eligibility required
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
