About the Job

We are seeking a Commercial Representative for Rare Diseases to join our team at Alnylam. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving physician and patient identification, disease awareness, overall market development, and brand awareness within your assigned territory.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biotech or pharmaceutical sales, with experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, office staff, and patients, while effectively prioritizing and managing time, activities, and resources.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account plans to drive patient identification, disease awareness, and market development.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution of commercial strategies.
  • Provide educational content and support to HCPs and office staff to enhance understanding of rare diseases.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in biotech, specialty pharmaceuticals, or medical devices.
  • Experience in gastroenterology, hematology/oncology, or other relevant areas preferred but not required.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
