Salary
$26.95 - $40.30 per hour, based on relevant experience.

Job Description
As a Sleep Disorder Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients undergoing sleep studies and sleep disorder treatment. Your primary duties will include:
  • Preparing patients for sleep studies by setting up and calibrating equipment.
  • Conducting thorough interviews to determine patients' sleep disorders and explaining testing procedures.
  • Performing and scoring sleep studies, interpreting results, and reporting findings to patients and medical professionals.
  • Providing education and support to patients about their test results, sleep disorders, and available resources.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, preferably with a degree in Polysomnography or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Registration as a Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or equivalent certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or equivalent.
