Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Operative Assistant to join our team at New Vista Health LLC. As a Surgical Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with surgical interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage surgical instrument supplies, ensuring timely replenishment and maintenance of PAR levels.
  • Clean and sterilize all surgical instruments according to established protocols.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to performance improvement initiatives under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Essential Qualifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients' age-related needs.
  • Understand growth and development principles and possess ability to assess patient requirements relative to their age-specific needs.
  • Knowledge of surgical techniques, instruments, and isolation procedures.
  • Demonstrate technical surgical skills and competence in specific areas.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college education preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience required.
  • Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technical School is desirable.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 based on location and industry standards.
