About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Leader, Financial Operations, to join our team. In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of a scalable commercial controllership process that supports Axon's rapid growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive data transformation, accelerate decision-making, and provide actionable insights that contribute to scalable growth.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement a commercial controllership process that supports Axon's rapid growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data transformation and accelerate decision-making.
  • Provide actionable insights that contribute to scalable growth.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to sales teams on sales strategy, contract negotiation, financial modeling, and accounting analysis.
  • Conduct technical accounting research to ensure proper treatment of new product launches and complex sales programs.
  • Maintain well-documented controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
  • Effectively communicate accounting implications and process requirements across Sales, Product, IT, and other functions.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
  • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and productivity metrics to provide actionable insights.


About You

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Leader, Financial Operations, with a strong background in financial accounting, FP&A, or a related field. You should have a proven track record of leading process transformations, implementing revenue systems, and driving financial growth in a fast-paced environment. You should also have strong business acumen, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
