Job Summary

The Department of General Services is seeking a highly skilled Financial Services Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for performing duties of average difficulty in accounting, budgetary, and other fiscal related work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accounting, budgetary, and other fiscal related work under general supervision from the Accounting Administrator I.
  • Provide control over the allocation and release of State funds.

Requirements

This position requires individuals who are new to state service to have list eligibility in order to gain employment with any state agency. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. Working Conditions

This position is eligible for telework up to an average of 3 days a week, in accordance with DGS's Telework Policy.
