Job Summary

Educational Alliance is seeking a skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring bi-weekly payrolls are recorded and allocated in accordance with government contracts, while maintaining strong internal control practices and achieving high-level quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining payroll database with updated rate changes, tax withholdings, time off accruals, and other items affecting payroll.
  • Maintain up-to-date and approve staff allocations in Intacct prior to uploading payroll to the general ledger.
  • Review and maintain weekly time and attendance hours.
  • Perform monthly analysis of payroll as directed.
  • Assist with the preparation and transmission of payroll to ADP.
  • Review ADP-generated W-2s for accuracy.
  • Complete gross-to-gross payroll reconciliation for each pay period.
  • Perform quarterly 941 reconciliations.
  • Serve as backup to perform all activities necessary to process the payroll.
Requirements
  • BS or BA in Accounting.
  • Highly proficient with Enhanced E-Time and ADP Workforce Now.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Intacct preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in payroll operations.
  • Industry knowledge of payroll practices, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Working experience in a non-profit industry is a plus.
