Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at St. Luke's Health System in Twin Falls, Idaho.
About the JobAs an NICU Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing specialized care to newborns who require intensive medical attention. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and assessing the health of premature or ill infants, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, administering medications, and educating parents on neonatal care.
About Our UnitOur Magic Valley NICU is an 18-bed unit that is rated as a level 3 NICU. We provide care for babies who are born premature (30 weeks and up) or with medical issues. Our neonatologists or neonatal nurse practitioners are on site 24/7. Patient ratios are 1:3, with 1:1 or 1:2 ratios for high acuity patients.
Responsibilities- Monitor and assess the health of premature or ill infants
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Educate parents on neonatal care and provide emotional support
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- At least one year of experience, preferably in NICU
- A current RN licensure from the State of Idaho
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide:
