Job Title: Master Steel Fabricator
We are seeking a highly skilled Master Steel Fabricator to join our team at Holtec International.
About the Role:
This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced welder who can perform high-quality steel fabrication work. As a Master Steel Fabricator, you will be responsible for welding and assembling metal components using various techniques and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate metal components using manual or automated processes to meet precise specifications.
- Operate multiple types of welding equipment, including gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, and submerged arc welding.
- Inspect workpieces for quality and accuracy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and execute large-scale fabrication projects.
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in heavy plate manufacturing, preferably with expertise in GTAW and submerged arc welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and transfer blueprint information to materials.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multiple welding processes and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
