About the Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our wound care team at Knapp Medical Center. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing direct care to patients in our outpatient wound care clinic and evaluating inpatient wounds. Your expertise will be essential in communicating with physicians, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding changes in patient treatment and clinical condition.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to patients in our outpatient wound care clinic and evaluate inpatient wounds
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, charge nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding patient treatment and clinical condition
  • Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
Requirements

To be considered for this rewarding opportunity, you must have:

  • A current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the state
  • BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire and maintain current
  • Previous acute care hospital experience preferred
  • Previous wound care knowledge and/or experience preferred (1 year)
  • Wound Care Certification within first year of hire
  • Wound, Ostomy, Continence (WOC) Certification preferred
