Range Management Specialist

About the Job:
This is an exciting opportunity to join National Experienced Workforce Solutions as a Range Management Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting the Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) through a grant administered program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide training, mentoring, and coaching to less-tenured staff on NRCS's inventory, assessment, planning, and monitoring processes.
• Assist in inventorying, assessing, planning, and monitoring of conservation practices, including the use of NRCS's technical tools for the grazing lands program.
• Assist in technical data gathering and assembly for conservation plans and Farm Bill contract participation throughout the United States.
• Support the National Grazing Lands Discipline Lead with other activities that support Farm Bill Program planning, implementation, and monitoring as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 20 years of experience in planning and implementing agricultural and natural resource management programs on grazing lands.
• Operational skills with NRCS's grazing lands technical tools, including HRH, PCS, ESDs, and NRI.
• Valid State Driver's License and experience with Windows, MS Word, and MS Excel.
