We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team in a locum tenens position near Summitville, TN.
Position DescriptionThis opportunity offers a unique chance to provide high-quality emergency medical care to the community while enjoying a flexible scheduling arrangement. The position requires 24-hour coverage in the 12-bed Emergency Department, with 12-hour shifts available for both day and night.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department.
- Ensure 24-hour coverage in the Emergency Department, with 12-hour shifts available for both day and night.
- Utilize Meditech EMR system with dragon dictation for efficient documentation and patient management.
- Utilize onsite lab, x-ray, and CT services to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Board Certification: Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine or have significant experience in Emergency Medicine if board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Experience: Two years of experience in Emergency Medicine is preferred.
- Licensure: Must hold an active medical license in the state of Tennessee.
- Availability: Full-time or part-time availability.
- Flexible Scheduling: Options for full-time or part-time positions with 12-hour shifts available.
