About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate nurse with experience in critical care settings. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong critical thinking abilities, and a proven track record of providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide, direct, and motivate staff by supervising the application of nursing techniques in patient care and treatment.
  • Advise staff on policies and procedures while observing tasks to ensure efficiency.
  • Identify exceptional performance characteristics and discuss methods to improve performance.
  • Resolve staff disputes following organizational policies and implement corrective measures when necessary.
  • Provide nursing care and procedures as per physician's orders and nursing protocols.
  • Administer medication, evaluate possible side effects, and monitor overall effectiveness.
  • Perform emergency responses like Basic Life Support (BLS) and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Participate in an emergency response setting and conduct mental health monitoring.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks based on urgency and scheduled activities.
  • Review records for accuracy and completeness, prepare work schedules, and conduct interviews with prospective employees.
  • Train staff by identifying training needs and providing instruction on procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Schedule and assign staff work plans based on patient needs, staff availability, experience, and training.
  • Document and record nursing care in patient files and maintain file systems.
  • Inspect and maintain healthcare equipment, supplies, and inventory.

Competencies Required:

The ideal candidate will possess excellent decision-making skills, be able to delegate tasks effectively, and demonstrate strong organizational and planning abilities. Conflict management, perseverance, written communication, ethics, integrity, and trust are also essential qualities for this role.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

You will need to have in-depth knowledge of accepted nursing practices, complex medical treatments, applicable laws and regulations, and principles of customer service. Additionally, you should be proficient in applying complex nursing techniques, critical thinking, and problem-solving, with excellent communication skills, training, and instructional abilities.

Abilities Required:

To succeed in this role, you must be able to function independently, manage change, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, assess and monitor healthcare outcomes, solve problems creatively, and multitask efficiently.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
