Job Title: Electrical Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

As an Electrical Engineering Manager at Gaylor Electric, Inc., you will be responsible for leading a team of electrical engineers and designers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget. You will oversee the management and performance of the design/engineering department, ensuring that technical designs are integrated and coordinated with other internal departments and external consultants. Your expertise in electrical construction, lighting design, and NEC code standards will be essential in driving innovation and excellence in our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise a team of electrical engineers and designers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the integration and coordination of technical designs with other internal departments and external consultants.
  • Review completed department work for targeted projects, technical adequacy, and satisfaction of project requirements.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures and control documents to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental personnel to resolve technical support issues and ensure smooth project execution.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical construction, lighting design, and NEC code standards.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
