Mammography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team at SB Clinical Practice Management. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality radiographic images and exceptional patient care.

• Perform mammographic radiological procedures with a high level of technical proficiency and attention to detail.
• Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
• Develop and implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of imaging quality and patient satisfaction.
• Provide education and training to radiologic technologists and other staff members on imaging procedures and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with advances in imaging technology and techniques.

• High school diploma and graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Licensure in Diagnostic Radiology in the State of New York.
• ARRT registration and certification in Mammography.
• Basic Life Certification (BLS) from the American Heart Association or equivalent.
• One year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in mammography.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Licensure in Contrast Injection in the State of New York.

The physical demands of this position require the ability to stand for long periods, lift and move equipment, and perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy. The successful candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity and attention to detail.
