We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic Lead to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

About the Job

This is a high-paying opportunity for a skilled diesel mechanic with strong leadership abilities. As a Diesel Mechanic Lead, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining our fleet of road equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel equipment issues
  • Lead a team of mechanics in performing routine maintenance tasks
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Document maintenance logs and track inventory
  • Perform road rescue services as needed
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of experience in commercial diesel mechanics or refrigeration
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
