Hotel Public Space Attendant/Houseperson

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Luxury Hotel Attendant at the Essex Resort & Spa.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. As a Luxury Hotel Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the lobby areas, public restrooms, employee restrooms, and property internal offices are immaculate and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of entire lobby area, dusting, vacuuming, and furniture placement.
  • Polish all brass sign displays and stairway handrails.
  • Ensure constant monitoring and replacement of telephone message pads and pens at all public telephones.
  • Observe Concierge carpeting to maintain constant cleanliness.
  • Dusts all pictures and furniture.
  • Checks and cleans all public restrooms, including the poolside restrooms, on a frequent basis throughout the day/evening, replacing paper supplies as needed.
  • Checks, cleans, and re-stocks employee restrooms two times daily.
  • Remove trash and vacuums carpets in internal offices.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • A neat appearance and pleasant personality.
  • Ability to work on feet for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, paid time off, and bereavement time.

All employees at least 18 years of age or older are eligible to participate in our 401(k) plan with employer match after 3 months of employment.
