Job Title: Clinical Nursing Educator - Practical Nurse Faculty

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nursing Educator to join our team as a Practical Nurse Faculty at Veracity Resourcing and Services.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nursing professional to teach and mentor students in our Licensed Practical Nursing program. The successful candidate will design, implement, and evaluate the nursing curriculum in accordance with state regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Education:
    • Teach theoretical knowledge and practical nursing skills to students enrolled in the Licensed Practical Nursing program.
    • Develop, update, and revise curriculum materials to ensure alignment with current nursing practices and standards.
    • Create lesson plans, assignments, and assessments that engage students and measure competency.
    • Integrate technology and innovative teaching strategies into classroom and clinical instruction.
  • Clinical Supervision:
    • Supervise students in clinical settings, ensuring safe practice and adherence to professional standards.
    • Evaluate student performance during clinical rotations and provide constructive feedback.
    • Coordinate with clinical sites to ensure a positive learning environment for students.
  • Student Advising and Mentorship:
    • Provide academic advising to students, assisting with course selections and career planning.
    • Serve as a mentor to students, offering support in both academic and personal development.
    • Track and evaluate student progress, providing interventions and tutoring as needed.
  • Collaboration and Administration:
    • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development and program review processes.
    • Work closely with colleagues, clinical partners, and other departments to ensure seamless program operation.
    • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and evaluations in compliance with institutional policies.
  • Professional Development:
    • Stay current with nursing practice standards, education methodologies, and technology advancements in healthcare.
    • Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities and pursue continuing education as needed.
    Qualifications:
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required (Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred).
      • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license; Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
    • Experience:
      • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
      • Previous teaching experience in a nursing program or related field is highly desirable.
      • Experience in supervising or mentoring nursing students in clinical settings.
    Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year.
