At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Repair Technician to join our team. As a critical member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our diesel equipment, ensuring compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a safe and organized workspace. With a focus on preventative maintenance, you will troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace, and complete all required repairs on diesel equipment.

We offer a competitive salary of $26.00 per hour, as well as comprehensive benefits starting from day one, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, and an eligible new hire retention bonus of $5,000. Our flexible schedule includes nights and weekends, with overtime available when needed.

To succeed in this role, you must have 3 years of commercial diesel mechanic or reefer experience, or 2 years of experience with TK or Refrigeration certification. Additionally, you must be able to comply with EPA and OSHA regulations, read and understand technical and service manuals, and communicate effectively with coworkers and drivers.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires occasional sitting, frequent standing, walking, driving (test drives equipment), lifting (up to 120-150 pounds with assistance), pushing/pulling, climbing/balancing, stooping/squatting, bending, reaching above shoulder, grasping objects, manipulating objects, twisting, and performing tasks that require repetitive motion.
