Overview of the Role

The United Health Services team is seeking a highly skilled Physician Practice RN Lead to join our esteemed healthcare organization. This pivotal role demands exceptional nursing expertise, leadership acumen, and a deep understanding of healthcare operations.

About the Position

In this position, you will oversee daily nursing operations in our Podiatry department at Vestal Ortho, ensuring seamless patient care and efficient workflow management. With a strong background in healthcare administration, you will be responsible for coordinating staff schedules, allocating resources effectively, and implementing process improvements to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Responsibilities and Expectations
  • Lead and develop a high-performing nursing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with physicians, other healthcare professionals, and stakeholders to ensure cohesive care planning and delivery.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and evidence-based protocols to drive continuous quality improvement.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
  • A current New York State RN license and active CPR certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • A strong understanding of healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures.
