Job Summary:

The Site Reliability Engineer role at Peraton involves monitoring, analyzing, and detecting cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks. This position requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, as well as experience with cloud security architectures and system security engineering.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze cyber events and incidents within information systems and networks
Develop and implement security systems to prevent and respond to cyber threats
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards and policies
Design, develop, and implement secure cloud-based systems and architectures
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential security threats

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
14 years of experience in software development, system engineering, and cybersecurity
10 years of experience in cloud security architecture and system security engineering
Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph

Preferred Skills:

Experience with ElasticSearch, AWS, and System Admin or DevOps
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices
Strong understanding of cloud security architectures and system security engineering
