Healthcare Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Healthcare Compliance Officer to join our team at Atlas Search. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our clients adhere to regulatory standards and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs that align with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as industry best practices.
- Stay updated on relevant healthcare regulations, laws, and industry standards. Assess the impact of new regulations on our clients and recommend necessary changes.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. Analyze audit findings and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Develop and deliver training programs for staff on compliance-related topics, including HIPAA, fraud, and abuse prevention.
- Investigate compliance-related incidents and allegations, documenting findings and ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
- Prepare and present compliance reports to senior management and the board of directors, highlighting risks, trends, and compliance issues.
- Work closely with various departments, including legal, finance, and operations, to ensure a coordinated approach to compliance across our clients.
- Develop and maintain compliance-related policies and procedures, ensuring they are communicated effectively to all staff.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare compliance or a related field.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ)
Please note that the annual base salary range is $70k to $90k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
