About the Role

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are passionate about providing high-quality care and services to our residents. As a Life Enrichment Manager, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters socialization, engagement, and a sense of purpose for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate resident interests and involvement in daily life skills
  • Develop personalized life skills programs tailored to each resident's unique needs and abilities
  • Engage residents in life skills activities throughout the day and evening
  • Assist in maintaining an inventory of life skills programming supplies
  • As applicable, assist residents with daily care of animals and/or plants as part of the life skills program

Requirements:

  • One year of experience working with memory-impaired seniors
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with certification(s) as required by state regulations
  • Ability to motivate and encourage residents, with knowledge of adapting life skills to cognitive and functional abilities
  • Ability to work semi-independently, following community procedures and guidelines
  • Basic proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office, and ability to learn new applications
