About the Position

The MidwayUSA Foundation, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Executive Leader to oversee grant administration processes and drive strategic initiatives.

Job Summary:

This pivotal role will shape the future of our organization by leading the Programs Group and ensuring compliance with grant-making standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Oversee all grant processes, including Cash, Product, Range Development, and Coach Training grants, to ensure grantees adhere to policies.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director to develop and execute the Foundation's strategy, driving organizational performance and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Direct the Product Grant program, managing product acquisition, inventory, and delivery to eligible teams and organizations.
  • Serve as the specialist on the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act, securing funding for range development through partnerships with state wildlife organizations and the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA).
  • Represent the Foundation at competitions, events, and conferences, and serve on industry committees as needed.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Proven leadership experience in nonprofit or similar organizations, with expertise in grant-making processes and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Experience working with state wildlife organizations and knowledge of the Pittman-Robertson Wildlife Restoration Act.
  • Flexibility, including the ability to work outside standard hours and travel up to 25% of the time.
