Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Officer to join our team at Adams and Associates, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for the receipt, distribution, and management of all Center property, ensuring compliance with government regulations and directives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and inspect all goods arriving at the Center, ensuring quality and integrity of related paperwork.
  • Coordinate receiving activities with the Purchasing Department and other Center functional areas.
  • Conduct periodic physical inventory of all Center property and reconcile actual inventory against property records.
  • Maintain and update required property, equipment, and expendable computer inventory systems.
  • Receive, store, and issue all Center expendable materials.
  • Supervise and conduct the redistribution or disposal of surplus government property as directed by the Government.
  • Ensure compliance with all government regulations and directives as related to property control.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Finance, Property, and Purchasing departments to ensure prompt correction of vendor issues.
  • Utilize and manage the government excess property acquisition program on a weekly basis.
  • Provide required and supplemental training for new and current employees.
  • Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
  • Show respect and courtesy to students and hold them accountable for their actions and behavior.
  • Provide quality services for students and ensure that quality is maintained and student needs are met.
  • Exchange ideas and information in a clear and concise manner and contribute meaningfully to group efforts.
  • Effectively articulate thoughts and ideas, identify problems, analyze causes, and evaluate appropriate solutions.
  • Work in partnership with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
  • Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director/Center Duty Officer/Shift Manager.
Qualifications
  • Familiarity with Federal Government property and inventory requirements, warehousing, and inventory control.
  • Associate Arts Degree from an accredited college required; Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • Valid in-State Driver's License and meet Company insurability requirements.
  • Computer literacy in word processing and Microsoft Suite of applications.
