Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our Accelerator team at Red Hat. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building, supporting, and maintaining the GPU and Accelerator-related components for Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the GPU and Accelerator infrastructure to support AI/ML and GPU compute frameworks.
  • Collaborate with the GPU/Accelerator upstream communities and work directly with hardware vendors' engineers.
  • Optimize the GPU/Accelerator infrastructure to maximize performance.
  • Develop Linux kernel device drivers and expertise in C/C++, Python, Rust, and Linux scripting tools.
  • Familiarity with the drm subsystem in the Linux kernel and PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar AI/ML platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; Master's degree or PhD is a plus.
  • Expertise in C/C++, Python, Rust, and Linux scripting tools.
