Collateral Document Specialist Job Summary

CUSA Affordable Housing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Collateral Document Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for working with funders, clients, and vendors to clear funding and suspense requirements. Your expertise will be essential in providing support to the department, ensuring the performance of all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as U.S. state and federal laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate outgoing wires through banks, manage collateral packages, and assign loan documents to funders for review.
  • Manage funding file delivery to shipping/post-closing and oversee funding file reviews/turn times.
  • Handle the ordering of all collateral files requested on a daily basis.
  • File inventory, imaging, and logging of collateral files as received.
  • Send files and maintain inventory and tracking of collateral files.
  • Scan and upload copies to imaging systems and update servicing systems with current collateral information.
Requirements:
  • Mortgage industry experience preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated and able to multi-task with minimal supervision.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
