Job Summary:

As an Emergency Medical Technician with Lancaster County, SC, you will play a vital role in delivering emergency care to the citizens and visitors of our community. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team of healthcare providers in providing Advanced Life Support (ALS) and customer service-focused care.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care to patients in accordance with organizational policy and industry standards.

• Work as a team to successfully operate a single ambulance operation, providing Basic and Advanced Life Support services.

• Provide compassionate care with clinical excellence and customer service in mind, projecting a professional image through positive community interactions and adherence to uniform standards.

• Timely completion of patient care reports by end of shift, daily unit check sheets, and end of month check off sheets.

• Cleaning stations and units in accordance with policy.

Requirements:

• Successful completion of an accredited Paramedic program.

• South Carolina/National Registry Paramedic certification.

• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification.

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - or equivalent certification.

• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) certification.

• Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) - preferred certification.

• NIMS 100, 200, 700, & 800 certification.

• EVOC/CEVO certification.

• HAZMAT Awareness certification.

• Valid Driver's License Record.
