The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative plays a vital role in integrating programs aimed at improving overall health outcomes, focusing on prescription drugs. This position involves performing varied activities and moderately complex administrative/operational/customer support assignments. Computation skills are essential in this role. Typically, tasks are semi-routine in nature.
Community Resource Specialist
The Clinical Programs Pharmacy Technician Representative Community Resource Specialist works within the Maximize Your Benefits department to assist members by connecting them with various financial assistance resources to help overcome cost barriers to affording their medication. The CRS associates will take inbound calls and make outbound calls to Humana members to work with them on exploring possible cost savings in the form of grants from national or local foundations, various manufacturer assistance programs, and other government-sponsored support such as Low Income Subsidy (LIS) and the Medicare Savings Program (MSP) for medication assistance. This role operates within defined parameters to identify work expectations and quality standards, but has some latitude over prioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Standard policies/practices are followed, allowing for some opportunity for interpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have an active Pharmacy Technician License nationwide and state registration
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in mail order and/or retail pharmacy settings
- Ability to speak both English and/or Spanish fluently
Work from Home Requirements
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is recommended; wireless, wired cable, or DSL connection is suggested
- Satellite, cellular, and microwave connections can be used only if approved by leadership
- Associates who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense
- Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office associates with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job
- Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full-time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job-related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $37,200 - $51,200 per year
