Special Education Coordinator Role

As a seasoned Special Education Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the academic success of students with diverse needs. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and provide support to teachers, administrators, and other school staff.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with various stakeholders. Additionally, they will have knowledge and experience in special education platforms and software, as well as a deep understanding of federal and state regulations regarding special education.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Serve as a resource person for Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) committees
- Utilize special education platforms and software to document student progress and program outcomes
- Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and best practices in special education
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Special Education Coordinator
- Knowledge and experience in special education platforms and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and other school staff
