Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales and Service Specialist to join our team at 5.11 Tactical. As a Sales and Service Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, building strong relationships with customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences to provide personalized recommendations and solutions.
  • Drive sales growth by promoting 5.11 Tactical products and services, and identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of 5.11 Tactical products and services, including features, benefits, and applications.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other forms of payment.
  • Assist with visual merchandising, maintaining a visually appealing store environment, and ensuring that products are displayed and priced correctly.
  • Participate in inventory management, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a tactical or outdoor industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong product knowledge and sales skills, with the ability to promote products and services effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
