We're seeking an exceptional investigator to join our growing team and help us build a robust and impactful enforcement program. As a key member of our Investigations and Enforcement Team, you will analyze potential market manipulation schemes, work with our attorneys on cases, and help colleagues with complex data issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze trading activity to identify potential market manipulation schemes
  • Collaborate with surveillance analysts on referrals of trading activity that may signal misconduct
  • Work with other regulators, such as exchanges, FINRA, and the SEC
  • Develop and apply analytics and data visualizations to solve complex problems
  • Manage multiple matters at once, compiling and managing data from numerous sources in support of ongoing investigations

Requirements

A completed degree in STEM (or related field). PhD a plus. Three or more years of professional data science experience (statistical modeling, data mining, machine learning, etc.). Knowledge of market structure and securities industry rules, regulations, and guidelines. Expertise in Python. Knowledge of SQL, JavaScript, and AWS a plus.
