Job Summary

As a Security Officer at Ascension, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel. Your duties will include monitoring security cameras, fire systems, and secure doors, as well as performing mobile and foot patrols both internally and externally. You will also be responsible for identifying visitors and/or suspicious people and asking for appropriate identification.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of associates, visitors, and other persons
  • Monitor security cameras, fire systems, secure doors, property perimeter, and gates
  • Perform mobile and foot patrols both internally and externally
  • Identify visitors and/or suspicious people and ask for appropriate identification

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be able to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
