Senior IT Resiliency Analyst

Lewis James Professional, a woman-owned firm, is seeking a Senior IT Resiliency Analyst for a direct hire opportunity with a financial services client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for on-premise, third-party, and cloud-hosted systems to ensure effective business continuity.
  • Collaborate with leadership and technology application owners to create and maintain robust resilience plans, including contingency planning for loss of people, facilities, technology, and vendor dependencies.
  • Design and execute exercises related to crisis management, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Manage cross-functional projects with stakeholders.
  • Enable timely identification, escalation, and resolution of outstanding issues.
  • Develop metrics such as reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
  • Responsible for data management, analyzing data, identifying problems, and developing recommendations.
  • Support the use and maintenance of departmental resources.
  • Review plans to identify areas of improvement and provide guidance to address issues identified.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of business continuity or information technology disaster recovery experience preferred.
  • Skilled in MS SharePoint and MS Office applications, specifically Excel.
  • Required to work weekends and/or extended hours on some occasions.
  • Requires rotating 24/7 on-call support.
  • Industry certification, such as ABCP or CBCP, considered but not required.
  • Technology certification, such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Technology Associate, preferred but not required.
