Senior Sales Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Sales Manager to join our growing Automotive Team in Detroit, MI. As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strategic relationships with OEM and Tier 1 automotive companies in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify business opportunities with customers to drive sales growth for the NA market
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new key customers
- Generate a 5-year forecast and ensure accurate demand planning for your account
- Ensure growth of strategic product groups, generating new business opportunities, and managing your team to ensure timely and competitive quoting
- Align account strategy to ensure profitable and competitive business awards
- Communicate efficiently, balancing commercial and engineering interests
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent experience
- Min 5 years experience in Automotive Industry, showing a track record of significant program acquisitions (sales experience required)
- Ability to promote new products with today's customers as well as existing products with new customers, anticipating market trends, and providing early input to the L&P Engineering Team on new developments
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- International mindset, ensuring the best communication with NA customers having a global footprint and with the L&P global team
