Job SummaryWe are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Sinceri Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and mental well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility
- Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures/plans as instructed, including ambulation with/without self-help devices, range of motion exercises, dining, and bowel/bladder training
- Engage residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistance
- Respond to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provide or obtain assistance with care as necessary
- Uphold Residents' Rights at all times, and support and uphold all company policies and care philosophy
- Monitor rooms for adequate lighting, and safety hazards as appropriate, and use only the equipment trained on in a safe manner
- Assist with admissions, perform the inventory and marking of personal items, and assist residents with bowel and bladder functions, monitoring of bowel movements, and specimen collection as instructed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be State Registered or Certified Nursing Aide/Assistant in the state for which position is held
- Previous experience working with the elderly in a residential or long-term care setting is also preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and other staff members
- Must be able to perform job duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation
- Able to pass the necessary tests (i.e., CPR, First Aid, Food Handlers, etc.) if required by state regulations
