We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Surgical unit at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. As a member of our team, you will provide comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process
Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication to create a safe patient environment and deliver the best patient experience
Assess patient needs, plan and implement individualized interventions, and evaluate the effectiveness of the plan of care
Include the patient and family in planning and implementing care and develop a therapeutic relationship throughout the healthcare continuum
Requirements
Completion of an accredited or approved program in Nursing
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the team member practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing
